From the organizers:
"We are particularly honoured that Laura Pesce, a Venetian glass artist, has contributed to DISCRETE 2014 by producing, for the participants, small glass artworks, reflecting the main theme of the conference discrete symmetries, in particular time reversal, and their connection to the Universe. Each participant gets a personalized item, they are all different, and express the influences of the artist by the science of the topics discussed in the conference."
